“We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill
Through Travel with Passion, you can not only live a life well traveled, but you can help others do the same. My goal is to help people travel, to experience the world first hand and the changes that brings to your life and your world perspective. In alignment with that goal, a portion of my proceeds will be dedicated to the Foundation for Learning and Youth Travel Education (FLYTE). And thus, your investment in a life well-traveled will be payed forward to help others realize their dream of travel.
FLYTE is a nonprofit organization that empowers students living in underserved communities through transformative travel experiences.
At FLYTE, we believe that through these global experiences, students will be encouraged to explore and develop their understanding of the world and foster a sense of possibility in the them. We too inspire students to seek new experiences, encourage them to engage as global citizens, and instill in them the idea that the world is so much bigger than the community from which you come.
This past summer, FLYTE sent a group of students from Victor, Montana on a life-changing journey to Guatemala. Victor is a small rural town where the poverty rate is high in this community and many families struggle to make ends meet. On their trip, the students explored the colonial town of Antigua, climbed Pacaya volcano, learned to cook the local cuisine, and volunteered at two different social change organizations on Lake Atitlan.
During their time in the country, they pushed themselves outside their comfort zones, served the local community, and fostered something that we’re often missing nowadays, real-world human connection. This is the heart of FLYTE’s mission. We’re excited to see what feats these students accomplish in the future, and are excited to send more students abroad next summer!

Other donations will be made to local organizations that Travel with Passion deems appropriate.
